Ranjana Neb (T-29/ 004) is an ultimate dancing dame, choreographer and cultural artist {M.A., B. Ed (Music)}. She was born on 9 February 1982 to Late Shri Narendra Nath Neb and Mrs Neera Neb, Saharanpur (U. P.).
Ranjana took Kathak Nritya training from late Pratap Maharaj ji (Jaipur Gharana) and Guru Shikha Khare ji (Lucknow Gharana), Taal Vidya Guru Pandit Divyang Vakil ji for 18 years. She is trained in various dance forms – classical Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Chhau as well as Western (aerial and silk dance, zumba, salsa, etc).
Ranjana is professionally trained in 12 types of folk dances and took contemporary training from Bollywood fame Master Terence and Kruti Mahesh. She did Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Kathak, vocal and tabla, PGDCA & Direction and Production editing course from AAFT, Noida.
Ranjana had been a visiting and full-time dance tutor in various schools of Saharanpur and Delhi. She is a director at the Vaishnavi Nritalaya in Saharanpur and runs organised workshops in Lotus Boulevard, Espacia and a few other societies across NCR.
Ranjana’s students range from three-year-olds to teenagers to super moms in their forties & fifties. She has won many national and cultural prizes from the Department of Culture, Uttar Pradesh and Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Ranjana is also a two-time winner of Sony TV Boogie Boogie and Star Plus Dance Plus (runner-up). She has been a finalist at the Dance India Dance Super Moms and a semi-finalist at the Big Magic Memsaab, Sadhna Channel, Dance Icon Dance, Durgautsav (with more than 5000 dancers) in various districts of Uttar Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, Rasleela Vrindavan, etc.
An amazing woman of infinite talent and a charismatic personality, Ranjana believes in the motto of ‘spreading and strengthening Indian art and cultural values through Indian classical dance forms’.
