A rangoli-making competition was held in PND Park on 27th Oct, as a pre-Diwali celebration for kids. At first, children made designs and patterns of rangoli on paper. Then the best three were selected by Vivek Vaid of Defcoljammers group. It was indeed a very tough decision for him to choose the best three out of 35 kids who participated in the competition. The selected three designs were then replicated in the gazebo hut in the park, which is also the open class for these kids for their drawing classes. The regular walkers and many others enjoyed watching the children make rangoli. Thanks to Vivek sir for coming, judging, and keeping the kids entertained with his drum beats.
May the colours of rangoli,
Burning of earthen lamps slowly,
Diwali parshaad, pooja thali & rolly,
Brighten up your life wholly
