Mahagun Morpheus residents celebrated Holi, the vibrant festival of colors, with immense joy and exuberance. Residents, both young and old, gathered in the lawns armed with packets of gulal and gubbare. Laughter and excitement filled the air as people began smearing each other with hues of red, yellow, green, and blue gulal.
Since morning, children could be seen in the balconies ready with their pichkaris, ready for the next ambush. Small children darted around in the central lawn, their faces lit up with glee, enthusiastically engaging in water balloon fights while adults joined in, reliving their carefree days with equal zeal.
The DJ belted out peppy Holi numbers on its speakers turning the courtyard into a dance floor. Residents swayed to the rhythm, their spirits soaring high amidst the kaleidoscope of colors and laughter. Amidst the revelry, tables were laden with an array of mouthwatering snacks and refreshments, offering respite from the energetic activities. Families gathered for a sumptuous lunch, exchanging pleasantries and greeting each other with ‘Happy Holi’ and sharing Holi anecdotes.
As the day progressed, the ‘holi tolis’ as we lovingly address them became smaller in size. The joyous celebration served as a testament to the unity and camaraderie prevalent in Morpheus society. It was a day filled with warmth, laughter, and love, symbolizing the essence of Holi – spreading happiness and fostering togetherness.
