Musical Evening: A Night to Remember
Ram Vihar was abuzz with excitement as residents geared up to welcome 2025 with a bang! The management organized two spectacular events – a Musical Evening and Fun n Games – to bid adieu to the old year and usher in the new one.
The Musical Evening, held on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, was a resounding success. The event was carefully planned to coincide with the end of the children’s exams and the start of their winter vacation. The evening unfolded with a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana by a group of children and their mothers, seeking the blessings of the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and creativity.
What followed was an array of mesmerizing performances that captivated the audience. The event was a perfect blend of warmth and excitement, setting the tone for new beginnings. The participants, comprising tiny tots, teenagers, and their super moms, put up a grand show that left everyone in awe.
The two emcees did a remarkable job, engaging the audience with confidence and charisma. The children and young adults sang, danced, and played various musical instruments, showcasing their talent and passion. This cultural show provided a platform for the kids to shine, and they did so with flying colours!
The event was held in a beautifully decorated shamiana, enclosed from all sides and equipped with heaters to keep the cold at bay. The show lasted for almost an hour and a half, but time flew by as the audience was enthralled by the charismatic performances. The event concluded with a grand finale by our usual talented group of 10 artists who have been performing in various places.
After the show, group photographs were taken, and gift coupons were distributed as a token of appreciation. The caterers served a sumptuous spread of snacks, chaat, and South Indian delicacies, which were devoured by the guests. The dance lovers took to the stage, grooving to the DJ music till late into the night.
The Musical Evening was a testament to the talent and spirit of the Ram Vihar community, and it set the stage for a fantastic year ahead.
