Ram Vihar held its AGM (Annual General Body Meeting) on Sunday, 05May, 2024 in the Community Hall. There were in total about 40 to 45 residents who attended the meeting. The meeting started at sharp 1100 hrs. The quoram of 20 members was completed and hence the meeting commenced as scheduled.
The meeting started with a short introductory speech given by the President Brig Ashok Anand. Two minutes silence was observed in the memory of residents who left for their heavenly abode, since the last AGM. A warm welcome was given to the new members who have recently purchased flats and have moved into the society. Special thanks was conveyed to the general body for their support and co-operation in all the activities of the society. Members of the Board of Management were also thanked and a standing ovation in particular was given for Secretary Brigadier Shekhar Visvanathan & Joint Secretary Mrs Rita Varma.
Elections for The New Board of Management for period 01 June 2024 to 31May 2025 was held.

Joint Secretary Mrs Rita Varma, C- 001 Audited Accounts of the last Financial Year were reviewed. There was an open discussion on this and the matter was very peacefully and amicably closed. Guidelines for a farewell package for employees on completion of service was taken up. No final decision could be taken on this. However envelopes with cash as awards were given to the Manager, 2 plumbers and 2 electricians for giving their full help and support in the pipeline project which lasted for 50 days.
The President announced the completion of the laying of a new 100 mm CPVC pipeline for water supply to all the blocks. This is indeed very good news. The President with the Secretary had been seeing working and supervising day in and day out so that the work is done before the dead line. In less than 2 months the complete project is now absolutely complete. This shows the hard work put in by the Management. This is undoubtedly been a great achievement. Kudos!
Soft drink and ice-cream was served to all who were present.
