Rain, Rain… Go Away!!!

This Year the rains have played havoc in the city. So many trees, branches have fallen on the roads and some even have caused damage to the parked vehicles. At some places, due to flooding and water logging, wires have snapped and some have even died of electrocution. Due to the El-Nino effect, the monsoon spell lasted longer than usual and created havoc. There is an urgent need to inspect the trees that are overgrown and some whose roots have weakened. Due to the unprecedented rains, we also need to take some unusual steps for our safety due to the branches falling on the roads and causing traffic blocks. They should be pruned and all necessary action should be taken as they have become a hazard to human life too.
