Rain Causes Short Circuit & Power Cuts

Untimely showers during early April caused havoc for residents not only by blocking the drains with the leaves that had fallen, it caused a lot of damage to the trees that were weak and overloaded with weight and fell. Short circuits on the electric poles could be heard and seen causing sparks and fireworks. Many complaints were lodged by the residents as the power supply was interrupted first due to the short-circuiting and then due to the repairs.
