AIKGA Unit 42 Updates
Unit 42 met on 27th of September at MP Hall Power grid, Sector 43, Gurgaon. The speaker of the month was Rahul Kumar ji. He is well versed and has an indepth knowledge on Roses.
In simple words he shared the journey of growing, grafting and care for Roses. He also discussed the various mediums through which Roses can be grown, namely – soil, cocopeat and cinder.
The exact proportion of soil mix was shared with the members.
He shared a list of names of over fifty varieties of Roses.
Members enjoyed the interaction and the information shared by Rahul ji and thanked him for sharing his expertise with everyone.
Unit 39 held Udyan Mela on 21st of September.
Many units are holding Udyan Mela in September and October. The Melas are open for everyone to visit and put up stalls.
Unit 10, 11 & 12 held a combined Mela on the 29th of September at Pusa Krishi Haat, New Delhi.
Unit 1 held the Mela on the 5th & 6th of October at Gulmohar Central ground in Gulmohar Park, New Delhi.
Unit 42 is holding the Mela on 19th of October at HUDA Gymkhana Club, Sector 29, Gurgaon.
