Purnima katha and Hawan on 23rd April’24 – The grand birthday of Sri Hanumanji (Hanuman Jayanti) was celebrated with a big function at Sri Radha Krishan Mandir, Defence Colony. The Mandir management team organized a full day function by decorating the temple with flowers. All the visitors were given Prasad.
Big donation by Mr Bhargava to mandir: The big-hearted Def col residents keep showing their faith in the growing religious activities at the Sri Radha Krishan mandir. Mr. Bhargava a regular visitor donated Rs. 5 lacs to the Mandir to make more additions. Sushil Bagga, Secretary of the temple personally visited Mr Bhargava’s house and thanked him on behalf of the temple for this noble act.
Grand celebrations of Navratras 2024 – The temple management committee planned 9 days from 9-17 April with grand celebrations at the temple by organizing ladies bhajans every day followed by aarti and Prasad. Ramayan path was done every day by the 4 pandits which was started by the executive committee on the first day of navratras. The daily functions were attended by all the seniors including ex-presidents (Mr Bhatia, Mr Malik, Sushil Bagga, Dinesh Gupta) of the temple.
Renovation work after 22 years – as the temple is now 22 years old, the managing committee started massive repair and renovation work to make necessary changes for the future to make the temple more beautiful and sustainable. The mandir committee thanked Mr. Gaurav and Rohit Mittal for renovation work carried by their team.
Morning and evening Aarti is attended by large gathering at the Radhakrishan mandir which’s now centre of attraction with regular religious activities. The morning and evening Aarti (7-730 AM AND 7-730PM) is now attended by more than 50-60 people daily.
