NFC Club added a feather in its cap by teaming up and collaborating with the “R3 Golf Academy” to bring golfing experience to its members and their guests commencing 1 Oct. The inauguration witnessed the grand presence of one of the cricketing legends of the ‘1983 World Cup’ Madan Lal who was welcomed by Mr. Datta (President of the Club).
The Academy is looked after by golf pros Rajesh and Rakesh Dayal, both highly experienced golf professionals teaching golf for over two and a half decades and possess the highest degree of certification in the field as ‘Category A Coach’ from the National Golf Academy of India. The two pros established the Academy almost thirty years ago along with their father. The duo are apt in imparting training in all different disciplines and sections of the game, viz., swing construction, short game, putting, bunker play and course management. Additionally, they also guide the players in psychological and mental fitness. Rakesh Dayal was the ‘head pro’ at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club from 1992 through 2010 and thereafter at the Qutab Golf Course.
Members have begun to flock the academy to enjoy the golfing experience with two of the finest coaches at the lush green terrace of NFC Club. The President and the management looks forward to the golfing experience being enjoyed by many more members and guests and extends invitation to all.
