Two Palms in the Clubhouse garden got damaged in a thunderstorm as a party tent came down on them. Team Samvada grieves the loss. Penning down a few lines for us to reflect upon this sad episode…
There was a celebration, & we were happy for you.
As is our nature, We rejoice in everyone’s fortune.
But our happiness did not last long, As that night, there was a thunderstorm, & the vendor left the tent on. It struck us down, We stand here headless and deceased now, Though it’s you who harmed us who are sans head & how.

They, who have stood as sentinels in the day and night, overlooking all joys, sorrows, celebrations, and turmoil that the clubhouse grounds have been a part of, having witnessed many a thunderstorm and heat and cold, finally fell with a snap.
Not because of force majeure, but because of force anthropomorph… As a tent fell on them!
