In a heartening display of vigilance and compassion, Ms. Shweta Handa, a resident of M Block in DLF Phase-2, exhibited remarkable courage and quick thinking when she intervened in a potentially distressing situation on a recent evening stroll.Around 7 PM, while on her routine walk, Ms. Handa noticed a child crying inconsolably and calling out for his parents. The child was in the company of a man, raising suspicion in Shweta’s mind. Acting swiftly, she decided to shadow the man, closely monitoring the situation to ensure the child’s safety. As she followed them, Ms. Handa’s instincts proved invaluable when she confronted the man, insisting on verifying his intentions and ensuring the child’s well-being. Eventually, the child was reunited with his parents and all ended well. Despite the misunderstanding, Shweta’s actions serve as a reminder of the importance of remaining vigilant and proactive in safeguarding our neighbourhoods. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shweta Handa for her exemplary conduct and for being a Good Samaritan.
