On this special occasion when the country is celebrating the silver jubilee of Op Vijay, we are proud that one of our residents, Col Rohit Mohan Chaudhri, resident of WW 8 (FF) was actively involved in the Kargil War. He was the Commanding Officer of 108 Engineer Regiment, he led his men during the 60-day war. It is indeed a matter of pride that the regiment was awarded Battle Honour Dras and Theatre Honour Kargil for their role in the war.
