Trifla Park located at one of the corners of famous Gol Chakkar of Sector-61 is a very renowned place for nature lovers as of now. This park is very popular amongst not only the residents from sector-61 but from the adjoining sectors and far flung areas also who visit here regularly. Trifla Park, being the greenest lung of the sector has the maximum footfall as compared to other parks. People from all walks of life visit this park very frequently. Trifla Park is a paradise for morning/evening walkers, Runners, Joggers, Yoga lovers, Judo karate learners and chit chatters. This is also a favourite destination for open gym performers and volleyball, football, badminton, cricket players etc.
Very recently, a new and pleasing addition has been observed in this Trifla Park. A few earthen pots have been found hanging with strings on some of the select trees, perhaps at strategic locations, carrying water in them for the birds in the park. This is in view of high scorching summer this season when the ambient temperatures have extraordinarily exceeded the unprecedented levels breaking records of many years. This step is a very noble idea to protect nature and the environment by quenching the thirst of the tiny birds chirping in the park and roaming from tree to tree making the scenario lively. This initiative is highly praiseworthy and needs to be further strengthened by adding a few more locations to hang such earthen pots at Trifla Park. Rather, the need of the hour is to further extrapolate this feature in other parks of the sector also giving a clear message: Save Nature. Save the Environment.
