Recently, there has been a rise in road rage and rash driving within our colony, which endangers everyone. In residential areas, roads should be safe for all—drivers, pedestrians, children, and pets. Just the other day, I encountered a pet dog off its leash on the road. Fortunately, I was driving slowly, but if my car had been moving faster, the dog could have been hurt.
Sadly, such incidents are becoming more frequent. Near Gate Number 6, a minor accident occurred where a driver could have diffused the situation with a simple apology. Instead, the driver and a passenger responded rudely, escalating what could have been a calm exchange. In another case, a resident’s parked car was damaged, and the response was dismissive, suggesting an insurance claim without any acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. These situations highlight the need for careful driving and respectful behavior. Small acts of courtesy can prevent conflicts and ensure the safety of our community. Let’s work together to keep DLF 2 a peaceful and safe place for all residents
