The broken bridge on the RLS Marg on the nallah which was used by citizens to cross over from Kotla and go towards Lajpat Nagar has been in status quo for the last six months.
In a recent development thanks to the initiative of our MLA Dr Madan Lal the issue was raised in the house and with PWD department. As a result, tender for the constructing a new bridge has been passed and the work is to start very soon.
Soil testing has already been done and the earlier plan of refurbishment of the bridge has been scrapped thanks again to our MLA.
