Deteriorating Situation of Law and Order a Concern around 7X Sectors
The 7X sectors have undergone rapid development, becoming a hub for luxurious residential complexes and world-class facilities. However, recent incidents of theft and burglary have raised concerns about the safety and security of the area. For instance, thefts by maidservants and drivers have been reported in the past. Additionally, car thefts have become a common occurrence, with thieves stealing valuables from the dashboard and extra tires from the car’s boot. Another incident happened on the main road in front of Mahagun Moderne and Hype Park Society. The window of a car was smashed at night, boot opened, extra tyre and air pump taken, and dash board was searched for any valuables.
The number of people coming to live in 7X Sectors is increasing day by day owing to large residential complexes here. But security is still a serious issue here. There was another case in Sector 78 near the U turn which falls under slightly deserted area where a delivery boy was looted showing a knife. In yet another case, mobile phone was snatched from a resident.
One of the primary reasons behind the security concerns is the lack of adequate patrolling and poor upkeep of the area. The roads leading to the 7X sectors are long, and some stretches of these roads are poorly lit and deserted, with few U-turns. There are also vacant plots of land where unauthorised and unclaimed vehicles are often seen. All of these factors combined make it easy for thieves to commit crimes. Moreover, the lack of connectivity makes it unsafe for women to travel after dark. As the number of residents in the area has increased, there has been a greater need to ensure safety and security in the 7X sectors. The active members of the area have taken the matter seriously and met with the police to voice their concerns. They have requested increased patrolling in the area to curb theft and robbery cases. The police have assured the residents that measures will be taken to improve the safety and security of the area. In conclusion, while the 7X sectors offer a luxurious lifestyle to its residents, the deteriorating situation of law and order is a cause for concern. The residents and the police need to work together to ensure that adequate measures are taken to maintain safety and security in the area.
