Behind Closed Doors (BCD) is an online magazine that focuses on art, interiors, architecture and design. We aim to explore design elements with a twist by examining the stories related to these mediums rather than just the thing itself and giving psychological insights, embodying the popular phrase, “if only walls could talk”.
Founded by Karen Wilson Kumar, Baani Chhatwal and Anannya Gupta (resident of DLF 2), BCD started its journey in July of 2024. Currently, we tell stories through our Instagram page, @theworldbcd.
Our recent event celebrated the launch of our podcast, The Art of Design, where we delved deeper into how design permeates all areas of our life. Speaker Krishnamachari Bose shared his thoughts on the essence of creativity while emphasizing on the joy of surprise in art. The conversation with other esteemed guests like Aabha Bakaya Singh, Angelique Dhama & Akshat Bhatt explored how creativity isn’t just something we admire—it’s something that shapes us, from the walls we live in to the objects we touch every day.
