World Environment Day 5th June was celebrated by children of NGO Anukulan led by Lovely Gupta(A-284) with a Plogging event..Plogging means picking up any trash anyone sees on route while walking or running, throwing in bin and continue walking or running,with an endeavour to take advantage of time and keep the Environment clean at same time. .Despite the 50-plus scorching heat,groups of children enthusiastically came forward and participated whole heartedly in the Environment event.
According to Gupta, “This world Environment day on 5th June ngo Anukulan engaged in Plogging and Tree plantation drive across various locations PAN India.”
Anukulan team led by Lovely Gupta along with NGO children engaged in Plogging at Defence colony, Nala park D block .They picked up the dry waste /trash inspiring passersby also to keep the colony clean and green and to throw the waste only in dustbins.
We believe it’s our collective effort to keep our colony clean and not solely depend on the Govt agencies to do it .
