The main assets of our colony are our green areas and our parks, especially the Central Park in which lot of efforts is being put to restore it to its Orignal self and get people back on it. The enclosures are now also being cleaned on regularly basis and we thank the colony band Jammers every Sunday who perform there every Sunday. Howvevr, there are certain users majority of them are outsiders, servants or staff who come eat and throw the left over all over. Plastic disposal bags are all over the enclosure and even MCD dustbins are installed but still civic sense does not prevail among these people. The other problem is the dog poo on walking paths. The dog walkers who come to the park with the pets are least bothered what they are doing and are busy chatting or are busy on phones. All this dissuades walkers to use the park. My request to residents is please volunteer and be eyes and ears of your colony and Roko Toko these offenders when you see them. Secondly, all pet owners please instruct your staff firstly not allow dog to defecate in parks, if they to pick it up and clean the area.
