Please Do Not Feed Dogs Outside Other Homes

A middle-aged lady in a white Honda Amaze is going around the Sector placing food at park corners for stray dogs. We don’t know if she is a resident of the Sector. This is causing havoc as the food remains largely uneaten and is a source of filth. Rats are increasingly feeding on this mess and who knows what else. Can anything be done about this nuisance? She was overheard saying, even as two strays growled at each other around her, ‘If dogs are fed, they will not eat human flesh’!  A bizarre statement to say the least. Strays become territorial where they are fed and this is not a desired situation. Another person puts food and water to feed squirrels. Animals and birds should forage from nature. I don’t think we are doing them favours by giving them atta and the like!
