On 11th February, Silver Oaks ground turned into a cricketing battlefield when they inaugurated their Silver Oaks Premier League. Over 30 enthusiastic participants including senior residents, little champs, and some fabulous ladies, stepped onto the field to engage in a battle of runs and wickets. Participants were divided into 4 teams, showcasing their talent throughout the matches. There were some awesome catches, hits that sparked debates, and some amazing sixes that disappeared faster than a Formula 1 racing car. Excitement soared with every swing of the bat, and every delivery of the ball. The final two teams advanced to the ultimate showdown in the finals. Fellow residents came to cheer on the players from the sidelines. Residents celebrated afterwards with chai, samosas, and light snacks. It was a perfect blend of sports, socialising, and enjoyment for all involved. The Silver Oaks Premier League not only brought the community together but also reminded everyone that sometimes all you need is a cricket bat, a ball, and that thrill to smack the ball out of the park.
