‘Picasso In Me’

The Hamilton Court RWA team hosted a vibrant painting event for young, budding artists on May 4th-5th, 2024. With great enthusiasm, the children unveiled their hidden talents and showcased their creativity. Spanning two days, the first day allowed the participants to paint their artworks using their chosen themes and mediums. On the second day, residents and parents were invited to an exhibition to celebrate the children’s love for art and colors. The artwork was mesmerizing and garnered widespread appreciation from all attendees.

The participating children included Anika Chandershekar, Ananya Nakra, Eva, Eahani Aneja, Navika Singhal, Miraya Saikia, Samaira Bhaskar, Sainah Kaul, Tisha Garg, Yashraj, Yashika, Vij, Ishana, Eshani Aneja, and Khushi Garg. Ranging in age from 4 to 11 years, these young artists were felicitated for their efforts, creativity, and passion for art. The smiles on their faces reflected their happiness and joy, bringing cheerfulness to the event.

Art has the power to unlock creativity and express emotions in a unique and meaningful way. Encouraging children to embrace and love art can ignite their imaginations, boost their confidence, and provide a joyful outlet for self-expression. By fostering a love for art, we help children develop critical thinking skills, improve their focus, and appreciate the beauty in the world around them. Whether through painting, drawing, sculpting, or any other artistic endeavour, children learn to see the world through a different lens. Let’s inspire our young ones to explore the endless possibilities of art and watch their talents flourish.
