The next time you happen to be walking and talking at the same time, you had better watch out, because your talking might be terminated abruptly. Of course, you might want to break out into a run in an attempt, albeit a futile one, to recover your phone from a snatcher.
This is what happened a few weeks ago around 8.30 pm, in the service road alongside the K.R. Mangalam School. I got a first-hand account from Deepak Sharma who witnessed the untoward incident. The gentleman in question was walking towards the HUDA Metro station and was engrossed in a conversation when two people on a motorcycle quickly drove past him and snatched his phone.
Deepak was approaching from the opposite direction and since all this occurred in a flash, he was unable to give chase to the fleeing thieves. He did, however, drop the shaken and robbed gentleman at the Metro station.
