In the Meghdutam Annual Fest, ‘Music in the Park’ is a curated event where we invite select singers and instrumentalists to perform. Several veteran singers, well-known in the Delhi-NCR circuit, were invited to perform on the Rangmanch stage for the first time.
Col. Yogesh Grotra and Archana Tyagi (from Delhi), Deepak Naidu (Vasundhara Enclave), Dr. Mukherjee (Prateek Wisteria, Sec 77), Swarlipi Sengupta (Mayur Vihar), and Shweta Agarwal (F Block) were our first-time guest singers.
Song list performed on Karaoke, on 16 November: Col. Yogesh Grotra (Yamma yamma), Archana Tyagi (Mere khwabon mein jo aaye), followed by a duet by them (Jeevan ke har mod par), Dr. Mukherjee (Yeh shaam mastani), Deepak Naidu (Tu kahan is nasheeli raat mein), Swarlipi Sengupta (Zindagi pyaar ka geet hai), Shweta Agarwal (Lag ja gale ke phir yeh hansi raat ho na ho).
Following were performed by some of our regular good musicians on the Rangmanch platform: Mridusmita Mandal (Puccho na yaar kya hua), Pankaj Sahasrabuddhe (Mere naina saavan bhadon), Aditya Srivastava, on the mouth organ (Pehla nasha), Amit Varshney (song by Atif Aslam, Badlapur), Aarush Kukreti, 11 yrs, with his guitar (medley of Bollywood songs).
This event was anchored by Pradeep Pallavi (Mahagun Manor), a well-known standup comedian, singer, and compere, who has been a great supporter of Meghdutam Rangmanch’s initiatives.
Rangmanch is ever keen to welcome talented musicians in Noida and around to perform for the community, and, in the process, encourage local talent to emerge by providing opportunities on our platform.
