House improvement is a labour of love. & what’s more aesthetically relevant than the entrance? Tower lobbies are much more than the guard’s entry register! They are extensions of our homes & the face of our towers.
Lobbies radiate warmth & comfort to residents returning home after a long day at work. They make great first impressions too when guests come visiting. Also, they often become a space for mingling with neighbours – a gossip & laughter adda!
Thus, when tower residents worked cohesively to give our lobbies a grand personality, nothing could be more special. Thanks to a AOAPCPH initiative, lobbies are undergoing a much – needed facelift.
I moved in just a few months ago. It hasn’t taken long to feel the neighbours’ warmth. The kind Mr. Verma (PC3) invited us to a Diwali gathering & brought us up to date with ongoing affairs. Recently, he informed us about the Lobby Upgrade initiative & the sanctioned INR 30,000 for each tower.
Mr. Verma got us in touch with the helpful Anshu Gupta (PC17). Voila! A few weeks later, the PC5a lobby came alive! Tower entrances are getting the attention they deserve. Bright lights at PC3. Contemporary wallpaper at PC5a.
Cool wall panelling at PC17 & PH4. Interesting furniture at PH2 & PH3. Tasteful wall tiles in PH1 & PH4. Refreshing colours at PC3 A & B. Artsy paintings, beautiful lightings, book corners, classy tabletops, quirky planters, welcoming upholstery etc. at PC11, PC12, PC1, PH4, PH3 etc.
Interesting renovations are making the spaces look royal. A few residents too contributed money to make the entrances more beautiful.
The freshly done up lobbies have given us a happy reason to walk into them. The weather in evenings is pleasant too! So, let’s grab the excuse & say hello to our neighbourhood towers.
