Unnati, a school that nurtures holistic learning, celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The teachers organized an array of exciting competitions for the students to showcase their talents and their love for the country. The event was designed to instill patriotic values in the young minds while making the day memorable for all.
The day began with a beautiful patriotic song singing competition where students sang melodious tunes that echoed the spirit of independence. Following this, students performed in the Patriotic Dance segment, where they moved gracefully to songs that celebrated the strength and unity of India. Another highlight of the day was the “Enact Like a Freedom Fighter” competition, where students dressed up and portrayed famous personalities from India’s freedom struggle, bringing history to life through their dramatic performances.
In the creative zone, students were invited to participate in two unique competitions: Design Your Own Tricolour Flag and Make a Digital Poster on Independence Day. These activities allowed students to express their creativity and reflect on the significance of India’s national symbols. The students’ vibrant designs and posters reflected the pride they take in their country’s rich heritage.
At the end of the competitions, winners were awarded special prizes that included tricolour-themed hairbands, flag stands, kites, and badges. The tricolour gifts were a fitting tribute to the occasion and brought smiles to the faces of the excited winners.
After the prize distribution, everyone enjoyed a delightful spread of Indian snacks. The snacks were generously contributed by Deepti Garg, adding a warm, communal touch to the celebration. It was a day filled with joy, patriotism, and the spirit of togetherness, making it a memorable event for all the students and teachers at Unnati.The Independence Day celebration at Unnati truly reflected the values of unity, creativity, and love for the nation.
