Seeing the glorious response to the first AOH karaoke evening, Shantanu organised an encore on Sunday, 21 April, 6-8 PM. The allure of being able to belt out your favourite tunes was difficult to resist for the residents even the second time over.
The karaoke evening again served as a perfect opportunity for everyone to let go of their inhibitions and perform in the midst of a small, warm gathering. 20+ participants performed, creating palpable excitement that kept attendees engaged.
Let’s hear what a few of the participants had to say!
Gaurangi (4251) says, “I really enjoyed listening and singing along, with a lot of masti. It was wonderful.”
Pawan Maheshwari (9063) declared it to be a great initiative. “We got to hear such good voices and meet new people.” His daughter, Takshima, tells us why she chose to sing Kaisi Paheli Zindagaani. “I chose this because I feel it is one of those songs where people can vibe.”
Revati (7221) speaks about the energy of the karaoke evening. “It was amazing to see the fantastic talent we have. We can’t wait to participate in more fun events!! Our songs brought back lovely memories; Country Roads was our favourite song in the choir in school!”
Tushar Pandey (11172), a spectator, enjoyed his favourite songs being sung by others. “It was good to limit the number of songs any one participant could sing as it gave a chance to more people.”
Sandeep (9191), another spectator, is effusive in his praise. “Given the popularity, you may have to do it monthly if not weekly.”
It was a beautiful evening of musical revelry, well-received by attendees with encouraging feedback.
