It is with extreme sadness and grief to hear of the passing away of our dear Col PC Sethi (C -269) on 7 Feb 2023. Ex President DCWA gumbad and Club from 1998 to 2000 he has remained a bed rock of this colony. A storehouse of knowledge regarding colony land matters rules and regulations especially L&DO matters, being one of the first few to set up the RWA and Club he knew every detail. I would always seek his verification before publishing anything in print. He was my mentor and guide. A gifted poet proficient in Urdu he had published some of his poems and was a member of Delhi Poetry Society for quite some years. A staunch Arya Samaji even in ill health he tried and made it a point to attend the discourses. He turned100 on May 8 he was felicitated and presented with a momento by his old regiment 43 Field and Artillery Directorate. He was also to be felicitated as a centurion at the Republic Day function recently but was unable to attend due to ill health. Truly an icon and a stalwart he will be deeply missed by the entire colony. We offer our deepest and heartfelt Condolences to all the Sethi family members and pray for the Almighty to give them solace in their hour of grief. With prayers for the departed soul Om Shanti Om
