Dignity foundation is doing a fabulous work by organising awards programmes and holding talk shows and discussion on issues related with the welfare of elderly in our society. Recently many senior citizens from safdarjung Enclave who are also members of dignity foundation, staged a street play in green park market to create awareness about Dementia and Alzheimer’s. A mental health issue which has recently come into limelight due to such awareness programmes. It is need of the hour to sensitise the society about the health issues faced by our seniors. Awareness about the same helps in handling the patients in a sensitive way. An excellent initiative. Kudos to the active members Prof Gogia, Prof Nirmala Aggawal and Prem Versha ji who actively participated in the play along with many others.
