Noida is one city which has all the amenities and is a very active city of UP. There are lots of facilities, greenery, cleanliness and lights which make the Noida buildings, houses and roads bright and lively. The high-rise apartments are being constructed at a very fast pace, and many people are buying flats and shifting to Noida. However, when a power cut happens, everything comes to a standstill.
When lights are gone, the darkness takes over the place and then it becomes very difficult to commute and do daily household chores. The power outage is affecting the Noidawallahs hugely . People sometimes feel that they have gone back to the old days when light used to go for several hours and people had hand fans. However, thankfully it is winters, so even if the power cut happens, people do not sweat!
No light in the houses and offices means that no usage of electrical appliances, machinery work, computers etc. Even the lifts stop abruptly at times. It had happened in the past when women, elders and children got stuck in the lift when there was a sudden power cut. Of course, there are Diesel Generators (DG) which get activated as soon as the power cut happens. However, not all the appliances work on DGs like geysers and air conditioners. Also, generators are costly, they need to be maintained regularly and dependency on them increases every time power cut happens.
Noida is famous for having a lively lifestyle be it a day or a night, so power cuts should be less so that Noidawallahs can live peacefully, safely and happily.
