This year flower show has been far from general as compared to last years.
More than 70 varieties of flowers were showcased at the flower show in various themes however the design of Shri Ram temple made with several varieties of flowers was the highlight of the show. Among several flower, the stock flower was chosen to be the theme of this flower show.
The show was scheduled from February 23 to 25 with record breaking crowds seen this year. Another hallmark of the show sale of organic manures for better out of flowers and plants along with various rain harvesting techniques show cases for every participants awareness.
A new edition to the show was an animal park where several animals like dinosaurs, crabs and spiders prepared with waste material which caught attention of the participants.
Over 70 species of flowers were kept on display with several nursery stalls selling plants, gardening accessories, tools, manures, pots landscaping consultants etc. The event witnessed various competition- cut flower decorations, bonsai displays, food and vegetables carving paintings, talk on millets, compositing, cultural shows and plays.
The prizes were distributed for best flower collection and designs along with other prizes distributed by Ms Vandana Tripathi OSD , horticulture Deptt Noida Authority.
This show adds few more stars to the Noida city and has been a wonderful experience to all the participants.
