Yet another great achievement and feather in the cap of NOFAA, the Federation conducted a complete end-to-end election process successfully for electing new AOA Board for Pan Oasis, Sector-70, our member society having around 1814 apartments. The polling was held on 29 September and the counting went on to till the morning of 30 September. Such seamless and successfully conducted elections, for a large society, brings in great exposure for the Federation for conducting elections in other high-rise societies also in future.
The entire process went on immaculately smooth, with security provided by the Noida administration. Thanks to the Police Department for making sure that law and order was well maintained during the polling and counting process.
The NOFAA team that conducted these elections was as follows: Election Observer, Rajiva Singh (President, NOFAA); Chief Election Officer, Ashok Nauriyal (VP, NOFAA); Election officers were S Mohanty, VK Kapoor, and SS Negi.
The process laid down by the EC team was aligned as per the directives for conducting elections in the UP Apartment Act; and achieved complete compliance, as per the rule book. The EC earlier conducted several rounds of meeting with representatives from Pan Oasis for over a month to make sure that these elections became successful. Meeting was also held with the candidates who had filed nominations, for explaining them the process and required compliances during elections.
NOFAA has, in the past, been election observer in several high-rise societies, but this exposure brings in a complete endorsement for the capabilities of the Federation. This would be useful in bringing uniformity in election process, in all high-rise societies across the district.
Our common objective is to bring in better quality of life for the residents of our high-rise societies.
It becomes more relevant because in case the administration gets involved in elections, the services become chargeable. The Federation does it purely as a voluntary service for its member societies.
Hope more societies take such services from the Federation.
