A very enlightening presentation was given by Bhavreen Kandhari and her team to the Defence Colony police team on issues and regulations regarding the enforce-ment of Cracker ban in Delhi.
Crackers contribute a lot to the pollution level of the colony and are a major source of concern to both humans and animals.
She spoke about pollution and its causes. To prove her point she performed an experiment by burning an agarbatti in the room. It was surprising for every one present how even an agarbatti can raise the AQI level of a room to a considerable level which also proved her point that crackers are the worst form of pollutants.
The presentation was attended by SHO Mr Chander Shekhar and his staff who also later took part in an open discussion regarding the seriousness of banning crackers and how to implement it.
SHO sir promised Bhavreen and her team all the help in enforcing this ban in their area and carry forward this program of generating awareness to other police stations. Thank you Bhavreen and warrior moms for working for this important cause.
