A silver medal in Karate championship – you would expect a strong and sturdy adult to be the proud owner of this coveted prize! But no, you are in for a surprise! She is this cute looking seven year old girl who will steal your heart with her cuteness long before you are impressed by her strength and achievement. Yes, you got that right! We are talking about Nitya Sharma of C Block. Since she has been training here in the Sector, chances are that you already know her.
Sports build character of the nation and India truly has seen great success in every field of sports in last many years .Indian sports stars are performing and winning at international level in large numbers now .
We at sector 39 are also privileged to have several kids and seniors sports persons in different games. One such name is Nitya Sharma from our sector (C – 47) who won silver medal in 2nd Traditional SHITO- RYU SPORTS Karate championship held at Noida stadium on October 15, 2022 .
Nitya Sharma is a resident of C -47 sector 39 , daughter of Monica and Somesh Sharma .Nitya won silver medal in traditional SHITO – RYU Sports karate championship organised by Ryu Karate Do association championship in sub junior under 7 year 20 kg category.
Nitya started learning karate at an early age of 4 and half years. She has already cleared two levels in belt tests and currently holds orange stripes. She was inspired by her friends to take up karate as a sport for being healthy and stay strong. She practised and attended classes thrice a week at D – block park of sector 39 under guidance of an able instructor along with 10 other children. Her other hobbies include reading books, dancing and listening music and playing sudoku .Nitya has been consistently supported by her parents and grandparents.
