Nirmal Kapoor Sikka – An Author, Social Welfare Activist, Former Principal & Philanthropist

I was just impressed by the poetic work and talent of the author. Nirmal Kapoor Sikka (X-001, Regency Park 2) has vast experience in the teaching and academic fields.

Being a poet, her book “Joyrides in the World of Poetry” is a bouquet of colorful poems in English and Hindi, across all age groups, students, and others.

This is her contribution to the new generation, who will be the future pillars of society. Another book of hers in Hindi, “Kavya Kilol” (Dil Sarita se uthe Tarangen), is full of fun and laughter, relating deep down to our day-to-day lives.

Nirmal has worked as a principal at KPRC High School and as a lecturer at ITI Kerala.

This has been a golden period of her life, and she has enjoyed lots of appreciation. She has endeavored to collate all her experiences from extensive travel in India and abroad.

She has been awarded for her social welfare activities in collaboration with UNICEF. She has also been invited as a Chief Guest on Republic Day in DLF Phase 4, making it a special, interesting, and enjoyable day.

Writer Ruskin Bond says, “There is magic in poetry.” Poetry can cast a spell over us in a way that remains with us all our lives. Poetry has rhyme and rhythm with musical notes, helping children get an interesting view of life around them.

In appreciation of her commendable efforts in poetry, social welfare and education – we wish her all the best in life.
