Meet Manya Bansal, a 17-year-old student at Scottish High International School who is shaking up the literary world with her book “Taboo Shaboo”. Growing up in a traditional Indian family, Manya had to navigate the delicate balance between modern and cultural lifestyles. With one foot in each world, she learned to embrace both accomplishments and restrictions, adapting her behavior to fit different environments. These experiences inspired her to build a collection of heartfelt stories, tackling subjects that are often considered taboo in our traditional society. Manya invites readers on a journey through the complexities of a young mind, and we can’t wait to see where her literary journey takes her next.
Next, introducing Dhruv Sehgal, a 17-year-old student from Phase 2 who has just published his first novel, “Accidental”. This fiction supernatural thriller is already making waves, listed as a hot new release on Amazon. Dhruv has had a passion for writing for some time, honing his skills by writing articles for his school magazine. He has earlier also worked on translation of his dad Bharat Sehgal’s book ‘Vartalap Bhagwan Se’ to ‘Adventures in Seventh Heaven’.
With “Accidental”, he takes us on a journey into a world where superpowers exist, exploring the impact they have on society and asking thought-provoking questions about power, jealousy, and the consequences of messing with the laws of nature. This book is just the beginning, as it’s the first in a series. Mrs. Meera Aggarwal, a Phase 2 resident, and a veteran author, edited the book and helped bring Dhruv’s vision to life. Get ready to be transported into a world full of drama and thrills with “Accidental”.
Mannat Verma, a 10-year-old student in Grade 5 has displayed her creativity and talent with her book “The Tough Cookie”. Despite her young age, Mannat is not one to shy away from a challenge, and her love for writing shines through in her work. Mannat’s writing is not for the faint of heart, as she warns readers that this story will send shivers down your spine. Get ready to be swept away by this young author’s storytelling.
The books by Mannat, Manya, and Dhruv showcase their incredible abilities and the endless possibilities that come with writing. They remind us that age is just a number and that creativity knows no bounds.
