Residents of Sunshine Helios rejoiced and danced to their joy.! World dance day began with the lighting of a lamp igniting the light of art, music and culture. The show started with little less than three old twins Mahira and Mishika enàcting Radha and Krishna.
Our star dancers Jahanvi and Vidhi presented the dance. Aarna danced to a film song. Pragun and team – Manraj, Ishit, Pankaj, Advik, Kuhu and Aadira presented a medley. Anishika, Aadya, and Ananya presented a medley of Golmal.
Dr Garima was gracious to perform Katkak. Poonam danced to the tunes of Kajra Mohabbat wala…She performed beautifully. Vandana performed on – ‘I am the Universe’. Our chief guest Nisha Bhargava gave away beàutiful gifts to all participants. The Guest of honour, Ruby Bindra gave juices and chips to all.
Baisakhi Ka Mela With A Bang ! Baisakhi – a festival Punjabis is celebrated with great joy. On this occasion, an event company organised an event, and SSHAOA created a musical bang. There were about 25 stalls for mouth-watering cuisines and trendy outfits. Lots of competitions such as Dance competitions, drawing painting competitions. Children were given prizes. There are lots of games and swings. Everyone enjoyed it a lot.
Sunshiners Opened a New School For The Lesser Privileged! A new school was inaugurated on 13 April –on the auspicious Bàisakhi day. The residents contributed wholeheartedly. 100 Notebooks, 50 Picture books, 25 Drawing books, creative games, 50 toys, stuff toys, 50 slates ànd chalk, 10 classroom wall charts and clothes were donated. Presently there are 25 students and 1 teacher and a caretaker. A team of residents keep visiting to volunteer.
Sunshiners Provided Facilities To Apna Ghar School Apna Ghar School in the Shanties with no floor roof and walls. Everything was wo in straws. Sandeep Bharti, a resident, provided tiled flooring. Some were donated for walls and roofs. Sumita provided beautiful wall Charts and 50 slates and chalk boxes. Cheshta provided beautiful picture storybooks. 50 sipe carry bags for carrying tiffin and water bottles. A big size book rack was given.
