Jhuggi Settlers: The jhuggies in Priyanka camp were broken down and removed. These people had nowhere to go to. So, they started settling outside our gate in the middle of biodiversity park. It took us four attempts to get rid of them. Every time we got a call to say they have come back and building their tents/jhuggies we had to call up the SHO to get them out and their jhuggies broken. After four attempts they realised they were not going to succeed that they stopped bothering us.
Street Lights on Ribhu Saxena Marg: All the six street lights on this street do not work and the street is in darkness after sun dawn. I had personally paid money and got these lights repaired twice. But now we realise that the culprit is the taxi stand. They take away the bulbs and keep the road in darkness so they can carry on with their illegal activities such as drinking, womanizing, gambling etc. These go on in their tent. This road is not safe for ladies at night.
A large part of a wall on the outer side of our colony broke due to heavy rains a few months back. Despite our requests to the authorities no one has repaired the wall. This is dangerous for us as living with a broken wall puts us at risk. We Are exposed to wild animals and thieves. Will our councilor, MLA, MCD kindly take note and repair the wall.
