The year 2023 slipped away into the past making way for the brand new year 2024. Anand Niketan club as per practice brought in the new year with much fanfare, music, masti and dance. All the members had come prepared to dance the night away.
With the new facade of the club beautifully decorated there was much cheer and enjoyment in the year. The club was beautifully lit up with fancy lights and there was a specially prepared dance area flickering with revolving disco lights. The DJ was belting out one peppy number after another and every time the new number played out, a cheer went up in the air. Those on the floor grooved with the beats and those still seated could not help tapping their feet or clapping their hands.
More than 250 members from Anand Niketan itself were present at the new year in the club. Drinks flowed freely while a variety of snacks were on offer. Old and young could all be seen enjoying themselves to the hilt.
A lot of effort had gone into making the new year celebration. The club managing committee along with the staff had planned each detail in advance and on the D-day everything functioned seamlessly and the result was a stupendous evening which again will be remembered by all those present for a very long time.
