The grapevine is rife with the news that Gurgaon has been bifurcated into new and more compact Wards. There are confusing and conflicting messages and ‘gyan’ flying around on whether Southcity-I is Ward 37 or Ward 32, etc., etc., and what will be the repercussions of this new local MacMohan Line in the residents’ lives.
The benefit will be more to the Government as they will nurture and create more upstart politicians in the name of Councilors. More guys and gals to kowtow to the local MLA. Obviously more….. you know what.
Brasstacks. Our Colony is huge and part of 2 Sectors 40 & 41. The new Wards under which South City-I will fall, will be effective from Saturday, 01 Apr 2023.
Hence, every resident must be aware of this change both for local knowledge and administrative reasons, so that you don’t suck up to the wrong Councilor. The new bifurcation is:-
- Blocks A to H – Ward 31
- Blocks I to M – Ward 32
- Blocks N – Ward 35
- Block P & Q – Ward 39
Confused??? You should be. Any gullible person deserves to be confused. And you are exceptionally gullible if you believed everything I wrote after the paragraph containing the date 01 Apr 2023. Happy All Fools’ Day. This was my parting pot shot and I hope I scored well. May you remain gullible, be unable to Ward off missives like this, and keep getting guillotined for it for many more years to come.
