Two Cases Pertaining to S Block Resolved
Two cases pertaining to S Block have been resolved in the past few days, due to the active role played by our GK 1 Police station under the leadership of SHO, Inspector Ajit Kumar.
A “CRETA” car stolen from the residence of Mr Gaitonde (S359) on 25 Nov ‘23 was recovered from Ahmedabad in the month of Dec ‘23. The car was recovered by the crime branch of Ahmedabad Police on 5 Dec ‘23. One LRD, Mr Mayurdhvajsinh of crime branch contacted Anupam Gaitonde on 5 Dec ‘23 informing him that his car with a changed number plate has been detained by them & this person calling from Ahmedabad police wanted the FIR No. & number of our SHO.
Information was shared by Mr Gaitonde with the SHO & beat officers. The car finally reached Delhi & after completing various formalities, it was handed over to Mr Gaitonde in the first week of Jan ‘24. Some items like stepney & stereo system were missing, for which an insurance claim is being lodged by Mr Gaitonde.
Second, a burglary which took place at Mr Khanna’s house on the 2nd floor of S 363 on the night of 2 Jan ‘24 was also resolved within two days due to the surveillance launched by the SHO & team. A thief was caught from Amar Colony with some of the stolen items. Kudos to the team of PS GK 1 for their extra ordinary effort.
