After three years this time, Navratri pooja was celebrated offline. During the past three years, Navratri Kirtan has always happened virtually. This year, ladies were very excited because after a long time, they were going to enjoy the same pooja and kirtan and of course, get-togethers also.
Navratri Pooja started on 22nd March and the ladies took their turns in hosting the Kirtan. There were times when the crowd got huge. Though the time was 4 to 6 pm most of them reached the designated house by 3.30. With melodious bhajans accompanied by dholak and after pooja taking sumptuous prasad. Every day they followed the dress code and it was very pleasing also.
On the 9th day 30th March packed lunch was distributed to 100 Wellington staff, including the painters who are on contract for painting the condominium. This way, the pooja ended up asking for Maa Durga’s blessing for every one.
