It was an evening of joy and tradition as Hamletians dressed up in their festive, colourful attire and took out their dandiya sticks to enjoy the spirit of Navratri on Saturday, 5 October at the amphitheatre.
The festive evening was filled with energy and laughter as young and old danced to lively beats, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Even the occasional failure of the lighting system did not dampen our spirits.
Residents indulged in a variety of traditional snacks and sweets from tempting food stalls, adding to the festive flavour of the evening.
Live music and group performances, including a special Rajasthani folk dance by talented artists delighted everyone and encouraged everyone to join in the fun. Everyone participated in the festivities, whether seasoned dancers or beginners.
Though, of course, more Dandiya/ Garba/ Navratri beats would have delighted the residents more in the spirit of the evening.
This family-friendly event was perfect for all ages, bringing together friends and families for a night of joy and togetherness. Thanks to the efforts of the AOH Cultural Committee, we created beautiful memories while celebrating dance, culture and community with enthusiasm and spirit.
