Navratri (Nine Nights) is one of the major festivals observed in the honor of Goddess Durga. It occurs over 9 days during the month of Ashvin and often ends with
the Dussehra celebration on the 10th day. It is celebrated differently in India’s various regions. For many people it is a time of religious reflection and fasting, while for others it is a time for dancing and feasting.
The residents of Royal Towers celebrated Navratri on September 30, 2022 with Garba Dance and Dandiya Raas. The Maa Durga Aarti started at 7:30 pm, followed by distribution of sweets. The Garba event ensued shortly after. All the residents of the society actively participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm and vigor. Everybody danced to the tunes of the DJ and enjoyed the evening to the fullest. Dinner arrangements were also made but the residents were in no mood to pause their dance celebrations. It was truly a memorable night for the residents of Royal Towers.
