The Espacia society temple resonated with devotion as the Mandir committee organised a nine-day bhajan keertan program paying homage to Maa Durga. Each evening, a different resident hosted the event, showcasing the community’s collective enthusiasm.
The resident host welcomed the gathering, infusing the atmosphere with warmth and community spirit. The sacred rituals commenced with the venerable Ganpati Aarti, invoking Lord Ganesha’s benevolent presence.
As bhajans filled the air, Mata Rani’s majestic idol, resplendent in a crimson chunari, seemed to embody the divine feminine. The idol’s beauty was breathtaking. Its delicate features, compassionate gaze and graceful pose seemed to whisper divine blessings.
Mata Rani’s celestial aura mesmerized all. As the rhythmic cadence of Dhol, majeera, and cymbals filled the air, devotees’ hearts resonated with Her loving energy. Every bhajan, every mantra and every beat seemed to awaken the inner self.
A special highlight of the celebrations was the eighth day, Ashtami – hosted by Pallavi Gupta and Nitin Gupta. This evening was made even more memorable as Pallavi and Nitin offered a stunning silver deity Chhattar to Mata Rani, further enhancing Her divine beauty.
The Chhattar seemed to shimmer in harmony with Maa’s radiance as if infused with Her divine energy.
The priest’s soulful aarti and the distribution of prasad – an assortment of sweet and savoury delights – culminated the evening’s festivities. The distribution of prasad – tea, samosa, sweets and fruits after the soul stirring singing session was a cherished experience.
May Maa Durga’s blessing illuminate our path to self-discovery, love and spiritual growth.
