Chaitra Navratri this year was on April 9th, came late but it was worth waiting for as usual the pandals were set and decorated by the volunteers. Every day in the evening at 4 O’ clock the pooja commenced with Durga saptshtipaath and bhajan followed by Prasad both for elders and for young people.
Everybody made sure that all are dressed in the colour of the divine mother. Pandal was always glittering with devotees, bhajans, songs and faith. Every time Bhandara was organised almost 750 people enjoyed the Prasad.
This year a great initiative was taken by Kamal Gulati to welcome Ram lalla on the 9thday of Navratri. The lord was welcomed by all wearing vibrant orange with the DholChheena and dance followed by Sunderkandpaath. Lassi was distributed amongst all the support staff and Kheer was distributed amongst all the devotees, it was indeed a very divine experience for all from around Princeton.
Jai Mata di!
