With the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar ji, Nav Chetna Shivir, a meditation programme was organised from 1 to 31 May for the physical, mental & spiritual well-being of the security guards engaged in PCPH.
The programme objective was to destress & detoxify the mind, as well as to enable more agility & resilience. The programme was conducted in 10 batches to maintain continuity of the support services & rigid working schedule.
Each batch was for three days with a 45-minute session per day. The programme covered ~200 support staff.
The programme was conducted by Art of Living faculty, under the guidance of Ranganath Raghavan (PH4) & Nilesh Kumar (PH3).
During the course, the participants were taught about the five elements of the universe & the importance of breathing. Each session comprised three rounds of Bhastrika Pranayama in Vajrasana followed by Om chanting & bhajans at the end.
Participants were also educated about the importance of working for the community, environment, tree plantation & water conservation. Refreshments were provided at the end of each batch.
There was enthusiasm amongst the participants. They expressed gratitude mentioning that they had never been exposed to such courses before. More such programmes will be conducted for all the support staff in different clusters.
It was a great gesture in recognition of their services & uplifted their morale.
