Meghdutam Rangmanch organized a unique Nature Play session, as part of the Meghdutam Fest 2024, to promote mindfulness and foster a deeper connection with the environment. The workshop was led by Nattasha Kapoor, a certified mindfulness coach and visual art trainer, and assisted by Supriya Maheshwari, a Yoga and transformation coach.
Held in the lush greenery of Meghdutam Park, the session combined fun, creativity, and meaningful reflection. The event began with engaging icebreaker games to set a relaxed tone. Participants then explored the park, gathering natural elements like leaves, flowers, and twigs. These materials were transformed into creative, eco-friendly artworks, with twigs and plants replacing traditional brushes. Each creation reflected individual emotions and a personal connection to nature.
The highlight of the day was a collaborative project, where everyone contributed to a collective artwork. Named “Treeya” by popular vote, the piece symbolized the essential role of trees in sustaining life, particularly in Noida, where rising pollution levels make their presence critical.
The session evolved into “The Treeya Tales,” as participants shared stories inspired by their art, highlighting the need to preserve nature and find joy in simple, mindful experiences. This creative and immersive workshop left participants with a profound appreciation for nature’s beauty and its power to heal.
It was a gentle reminder to embrace nature in moments of stress or sadness, for as they discovered, Treeya will always be there to offer solace.
