Park in Front of Khosla’s House to be Converted into Area to Keep the Lifted Cars
By the time we are in the press Noida will start lifting all cars parked in front of ICare and Apollo hospitals. The process had already started a few days back and two three cars were lifted by the cranes but they were confronted by the problem where to park the lifted cars and the process was temporarily stalled.
It was decided that the entry gate park in front of Prez Khosla’s house will be widened for the cranes to enter. Incidentally the park is being managed by the residents living in front of the park and they are not happy with the decision. However, the park plot belongs to Noida authority and residents have no right on the land.
The area behind the mandir will also be cleaned up and few trees that are there would be cut to add to the requirement. Believe around 100 cars can be parked in this entire area. There would be entry on one way and exit on diagonally opposite side to make the entry and exit smooth.
Plans are that a contractor will be stationed there who will make entry of the lifted cars and issue challans to the erring drivers.
Both the hospitals will have to put up boards ‘no parking! cars would be lifted”. Their guards will have to guide their patients to some other area for parking. However, cars with RWCS stickers would be exempt from this.
